What Are Effects Of Abnormal Growth Of Choroid Plexus In Fetus?

Hi I would like to know what are the effects of choroid plexusd. are they permanent. I went for an ultrasound today and the doctor explained that my baby had one growing larger than the other. But I do not really understand what this means and I am really worried.

Hi,

By what you say this may be a simple choroid plexus cyst. This is very common in the paediatric age group and many times it may be without any symptoms also.

Do not worry about this but your baby may require developmental follow up in future.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
