Okay today s Thursday, but I thought it was Friday when I woke up. Well I m on birth control, meaning I thought I missed Thursdays so I took Thursdays and Fridays pill..not realizing what I had done till it was already swallowed. Can this hurt me? Do I need to see a doctor? What will happen ?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Taking two birth control pills at a time by mistake does not usually cause any side effects.
You may feel nauseous or vomit or could have some vaginal bleeding because of the extra dose taken. These symptoms will pass and subside on its own, and you don't need to seek medical advice unless your symptoms are severe.
Even though you have taken extra pill(s), you should carry on taking the rest of your packet as normal at the same time each day you usually take it.
Since you've taken an extra pill, you won't be in line with the days on your pill packet. One day can be compensated towards the end by skipping sugar pill for a day, while you have your periods, depending on which type of pill you're on.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
