Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
So i fell two months ago on my knees and wrist nothing broken but possible wrist sprain, everything is still tender. Am currently taking Ibuprofen 800 and avoid the acetaminophen with codeine. My concern is the bursa looking growth below my knee which looks to be sitting on my tibia, no redness but everything is still tender. What s going on?How do I treat this?
Hi I did review your concern. Your problem can be ascribed to knee bursitis or osteochondritis of tibial tuberosity. The best treatment would be to give that area some rest for few days and also apply hot fomentation in the tender area. If the symptoms do not go away, i would recommend you to consult a orthopaedician and get an xray done. I hope this helps Wish you all the best.
