What Are My Chances Of Getting A Heart Disease At This Time?

I am 27 years old. I do smoke, but not even a pack a day. I have been diagnosed with having anxiety/panic problems but am no convinced. I get severe tightness in my chest, almost suffocating. I am able to stay calm but am uncomfortable. What are the chances of it being heart problems?

Hi,

Smoking is a very high-risk factor for getting a heart disease. We have seen 18-year-old getting a heart attack.
As you are having similar symptoms related to heart, you should first stop smoking and get an ECG, 2D Echo and stress test is done soon to rule out the same.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sameer Maheshwari, Cardiologist
