What Are My Chances Of Getting Pregnant Again?

Hi Doctor, my name is Maureen. I had Uterine synechiae following my miscarriage on 5/8/12. It has been treated and i took in last yr March. The pregnancy resulted into Ectopic in which my right tube was removed on 23/5/13. Since then, i ve not be able to take in. What are my chances of taking in again. My left tube is okay.

I have gone through your query and understood the concern. It is so sad that the conception resulted in an ectopic pregnancy. In the current scenario, the tubal motility of the remaining tube, its patency and the status of the endometrium, whether it is capable of holding an embryo safely etc., should be evaluated by an expert in high risk pregnancy. You may need to take a break temporarily to allow proper tissue repair. Once healing is done, given the parameters are good enough, you can try for another pregnancy. As you have no ovulation defects, your chances of conception are good if the tubal function is normal. Hope your query has been clarified. Take care.
