Hi,

The chances of having 2nd miscarriage after 1st miscarriage are almost same as after a normal pregnancy. This rate in both cases is almost 20%. Only a very few cases (Almost only 1%) have recurrent miscarriage. The cause of miscarriage may be found in many a cases, however in others we can not find its cause. However, it is to be emphasized that most of the miscarriages (About 80%) are in the first trimester (13 weeks) of pregnancy, as is present in your case.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
