What Are Perimenopausal Symptoms?

I m 50yr old female, hypothyroid, overweight, going through perimenopause. Past 2 days I have felt soreness in stomach area - center area right below sternum. Not pain, just a bit sore. Soreness is constant but mild. No nausea or diarrhea. Able to take deep breaths just fine. Could it just be the way I sit at my desk at work? Sometimes I find myself slumping forward as I work at my computer.

Hi

Yes, it is indeed possible with repetitive pressure being applied on an almost daily basis while you at work and so I would advise you to just apply a cold pack to the region and also avoid the slumping. Also try drinking plenty of fluids and use an antacid in case it is to do with your digestive system.

Best wishes.
