What Are Red Bruised Spots Above The Diaper For A 17 Month Old?

my 17th month old has 3 red spots that look like he got burned by a cigerette which we dont smoke at the bottome of his spine above his diaper in a straight up and down row. Never seen anything like it would like to know if i should be worried. It is not bothering him at all
