It is composed of Beewax, Vitamin E, Cetyl alcohol, White mineral oil and Glycerine as main ingredients. Stopping this medication or continuing it for some more time must not cause any ill effects. Dermovate contains Clobetasol propionate, which is classified as a very potent corticosteroid. It works by reducing swelling, redness and itching. Abrupt stopping of this medication could result in some of the side effects like redness and scaliness of skin. Kindly taper it and stop its usage gradually since you are using it for quite a long duration. Consult Dermatologist if any unusual or bothersome symptoms appears.
