Im scared to death that i got HIV. I have painful, small bumps behind the ears and eralier I had shingles. I can't sleep because Im so scared. I hade unprotected sex November last year. Im so scared. If I have it, will my life be destroyed? I will never meet someone and everyone will be afraid to come near me. Please help me.

Thank you for query,shingles does not mean HIV is present.it is not clear about symptoms exact morphology duration of ear lesions.they may be non specific to HIV .may be due to any infection in the ears or scalp.so consult doctor for examination investigation diagnosis and treatment.You can undergo tests for HIV if you are anxious. you can get back to me for any clarification directly with the photos and details.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and Venereologist.
