What Are The Abilify And Topamax Drug Interactions?
Our 14 year old grandson is autistic and is currently taking topamax for seizures. Lately, his frustration/anger level has increased. A specialist is suggesting adding Abilify to his medications but we are concerned about drug interactions between the two medicines.

Topamax decreases sweating and may increase the body temperature and this side effect is increased in combination with Abilify. Heat stroke may occur in some people especially in hot weather and during vigorous exercise.
Therefore be cautious when combining both.
