my daughter has just started taking Seroquel after being on Solian for 8 years. When i read the side effects i was a bit concerned although she has not indicated any so far but she has only been taking the seroquel for a week and stopped taking solian last friday. she had been suicidal with acute anxiety in the last three weeks, but is much better now. i would like to have update and warnings about this drug. thank you. also she has had tests on her heart and there is some slight problem but just cant remember now. she has also had prolactin problems.
All medications are associated with potential side effects that may or may not occur. Most side effects are seen in the minority not in the majority of persons.
Some of the potential side effects are agitation, drowsiness, dizziness, vertigo, dry mouth , constipation, vomiting, reduced blood pressure. It is possible she may experience none, only a few or most of these effects.
She may monitor .If any intolerable effects occur then she can speak to her doctor.
I hope this helps
