1. since genital concerns are not an issue, oral Herpes (
HSV1) infection can occur to anybody and co-exists in presence of
Genital Herpes.
2. kindly rule out the possibility of
HIV also. Oral herpes can be confirmed by certain lab test taken smears from ulcers or vesicles and also by certain
blood test. Your physician will help you in this regard.
3. do not wear clothes over the lesions, avoid friction.
4. In Ayurveda we manage the disease on the line of 'Agni visarpa' and result oriented prescription will be:
.Mukta yukta kamdughdha ras 500 mg, 4 times a day [before food with water]
. sareevadya asava: 30ml, three times a day
. avoid: fried,spicy and non veg foods, milk,rice,ganji,sprouted cereals, vegetables may be taken
PS. strong guggulu combinations and Trikatu should be avoided in
post herpetic neuralgia.
