What Are The Best Ways And Results For A Stimulator?
I had my stimulator placed on December 31, 2013. I had the rechargeable battery put in. I went for my 2 week post op for added programming as well as instructions on how to charge. I was getting wonderful relief from the stimulator. The medotronics rep was unable to get any bars on the charging unit at that time. He stated that it was to soon to use the charger anyways and to wait a couple more weeks before I charged. A couple more weeks went by and I was unable to get anything on my charging unit. I called my rep and met him him the office the following day. He was unable to get anything as well. He stated that the battery would need to be moved. So on February 20th I had surgery to move the battery. I met with rep today and the best we can get is a 2 and sometimes a 4. My battery is completely dead and has been that way for over a week. I was told by rep that I should be getting a 8 but I could charge with a 2. I was to lay on the charger in bed for 2 hours a day and it would take 6 weeks to get it charge fully. I tried in recliner...and would get a 2... And 10 sec later nothing.. I hadn t moved . I got into bed and my husband tried 45 min to get into a good position. We even took a sharper and drew around the disk when we got a 2. As quick as we got it... It was gone... I never moved... I m frustrated... Tired... And don t know what to do.... I just want the unit to work... Please help Thank u in advance....
