Hi, am not sure if this is for a surgeon, but let me ask all the same I am an adult African woman and i have recurrent hard dark itchy lump under my toe. It disappeared and reappeared between my little toe and the next. Now i see same black spots on my two small toes A big black spot has appeared on the outer part of the sole of the same foot near the big toe. They are hard, dry, itchy (produces no water) What can this be and which medical practitioner in particular should i consult?
Hi. As per your case history you may be having either lichenified eczema or viral wart. My treatment advice is - 1. Wear soft footwear that avoids irritation on affected part. 2. Apply a salicylic acid 3% cream on affected part once daily. 3. If problem persists after 3 weeks then consult a dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr.harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
