What Are The Causes And Treatment For Stomach Infections In Infants ?

Hello doctor ,my 8 months baby is suffering from stomach infection.Doctor has given 5 days medicine named norfloxacin & multi vitamin but there is not much relief.She passes loose stools after whatever she eats & sometimes stool colour is green.Can it be due to teething? There are rashes on her face also.What to do?

Diarrhoea in 8th month could be a teething diarrhoea.If your baby is feeding well;& playful ;also does not look dehydrated no need to worry .Continue the medicine of your doctor & give the baby enough water & if required with some electrolyte powder in it.If diarrhoea increases or the baby is not eating & drinking well consult with your doctor again.Take care.
