What Are The Causes & Chances Of Increasing Cylindrical Power In Eye?
I need to understand cylindrical power in eye. My 6 year old daughter was found to have -1.75 in left eye as cylindrical now, whereas 6 months back she was told to be alright without any issues. What could have brought her this power issue, will this grow over years?

There is no chance of increasing or decreasing cylindrical power. If it is asmall cylindrical defect the child can manage to do without it. She should be asked to compare the clarity of vision with cylinder and without slider. refraction is to be repeated. and correct power is to be given
