What Are The Causes Of Having Throbbing Sensation In Head Which Is Radiating To Skull And Pressure Like Feeling?
I have a throbbing sensation in my head, it starts near my ears and goes to the side of my skull to the back of my skull. I can feel pressure and a weird sensation that I cannot describe. kind of scary, i am 40 years old so I have no clue to what this could be.
From my clinical experince I can say that this throbbing sensation, feeling weird and, pressure --if it is all without headache, then please get it investigated at least once.
You should either consult a physician or preffrably a neurologist. He may get a scan of brain or go for EEG recording. The details in the question donot tell anything about the variation or timings of this complaint, so not much can be guessed right now.
You should also get your blood pressure recorded, as it may be related to high BP.
Hope the reply is useful please feel free to ask more questions Dr. Manisha Gopal
