What Are The Causes Of Renal Cortical Thinning?

Hi. I was diagnosed with renal cortical thinning. How do you get this? How do you treat this? I am waiting on a Drs appt with nephrologist so I have not seen one yet. I had what felt like a kidney attack but results came back no kidney, no infection but thinning.

Hello,

In hydronephrosis, interstitial nephritis or pyelonephritis, there is a possibility of renal cortical thinning. Please consult with your nephrologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
