Hello, I can understand your concern. If the baby has been receiving intermittent blood supply, it means delivery is the ideal way out to save the baby. Since the baby is preterm and the lungs are not mature enough to breathe properly once the baby is out, steroids are being given to enhance lung maturity. The option for a cesarean section depends on the fetal performance during labor. With the current picture of impaired blood supply, I do not think going for a trial vaginal delivery is safe for the baby's well-being; an elective cesarean section with proper fetal monitoring is preferable. Hope this helps.
