What Are The Chance Of Pregnancy After Taking An I-Pill?

After Having unprotected sex, i took an ipill within 12 hours. But still i missed my periods. My last periods occurred in the 1st week of feb. I did a home test, 1st it came negative and then after 1 week i did another home test and it came positive. I am 22 years old, so what should i do now?

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion ipill if taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse is 95% effective.But as the pregnancy test is positive ipill might have failed in protecting against pregnancy.So I suggest you to consult gynaecologist and take medicine for pregnancy termination under their supervision.
