there are two questions one is whether he changed the blade and second he immediately applied blade after the hiv seropositive patients. if we consider both the posibilities than there are very very slight chance that you develop hiv. but if you are suspecting to have hiv than do rapid and confirmative tests like P24 antigen test and NAAT tests. This will end up your confusion. if you find yourself positive than start anti retroviral treatment. thnx

Hello
thanks for using health care magic

You tested negative for ELISA 6 months after the exposure, that is enough reason for you not to worry any more. Seroconversion for HIV is usually after three months and by six months almost every person who is contaminated has already seroconverted. So there is a close to zero if not zero chance that you could be infected with HIV.

Secondly, HIV virus hardly survives for more than a few seconds out side the human body, this further reduces the chances of you becoming infected.

You do not need to worry. According to me, you are not infected.

Best regards
Dr Achuo

Hi, your symptoms are not due to hiv. moreover hiv cant be transmitted by this route in your case. Hiv can spread by sexual contact, blood to blood contact or from maternal to child. andvhiv virus cant survive for the long time outside the body environment. so you have almost nil chance if getting infection.so be relaxed. Consult your doctor for your other symptoms. forget about hiv.
