What Are The Chances Of Chlamydia Through Unprotected Sex?
Hi, So I just got a call from a girl telling me she found out today that she s got chlamydia. Yesterday I had safe sex with her but I did go down on her, without protection. I know I have to get tested but I m uncertain when, and how big of a chance there is that I ve contracted the STI.
Hi, Welcome to HCM. All the contact not necessarily infectious to all even in the presence of an infection. Nearly 30-40% of the spouses of HIV positives are remaining HIV negative in spite of their regular contacts for years together. They are called as sero-discordant couple. Similarly all those who had food from a similar source are not getting infected with Intestinal organisms. Some escaped. So it is possible for you to remain uninfected with Chlamydia infection in spite of your partner had the infection. It depend upon various factors. Dr S.Murugan
