What Are The Chances Of Contracting HPV, Syphilis, Or Herpes From Receiving Body-to-body Massage And Protected Oral Sex With Multiple Partners?

Hi, I am trying to estimate the likelihood of std transmission from female to male. Let s say that a male receives a body to body naked massage with also protected oral sex. Let s also say that he does that with three different erotic masseuses and twice with each (if it matters in a first world country). What is the likelihood that this male would contract HPV, syphilis, herpes as a result of this activity? Should this individual test for STDs after this? What are the things he can do before engaging this activity to reduce the chance of transmission (other than HPV vaccine and Prep)? Thank you.

Hello,

Limit partner count. Avoid shaving before sex, small cuts increase the risk of infection. Condoms reduce risk but do not fully prevent STI's. Avoid direct skin-to-skin contact with visible genital warts, sores, or open lesions. Herpes, syphilis, and HPV spread through open lesions and uncovered areas that have visible warts or open lesions. Test urgently if you have painful blisters and ulcers; this may be indicative of herpes.

Genital warts are suggestive of HPV and rashes in palms or soles, painless sores may be syphilis. You can test for HPV every 3 years if you are unable to switch to a healthier lifestyle with one partner. For herpes and syphilis, you should get yourself tested after exposure when symptoms appear. Or you can do blood tests, STD tests every 4-6 weeks.

Use dental dams in addition to condoms. Avoid contact if a partner has cold sores or genital blisters. Antiviral medications (acyclovir, valacyclovir) can reduce transmission risk if a partner has HSV. Regular STI screening is essential, especially with multiple partners.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
