Hello, Welcome to HCM, Unprotected sex always carries the risk of transmission of HIV infection, if your partner is having the infection. As you have tested for HIV on 16th and 20th day of exposure and it came as negative, this means that you are either not been exposed to HIV infection or you may be in window period (wait 2 to 8 weeks from the time of possible exposure). Body takes two to 8 weeks to produce antibodies against HIV, but in some cases it can take up to maximum of six months. So I suggest HIV 1/2 test after 90 days of possible exposure. CMI index as such is not important if the HIV tests comes as negative nothing to worry. But you have to confirm your HIV status after 90 days of possible exposure. Thank you.
