Hi,

I understand your concern regarding the risk of cancer with Valsartan. The risk of cancer from Valsartan is due to one compound, which is a carcinogen, found in recalled Valsartan batches, in an amount not causing cancer. The risk is very low. It is almost near the risk of a normal person of your age and other characteristics.

I suggest my patients not to worry about matters which are almost near to nature. I advise my patients to follow up regularly for monitoring other effects of such a dose of Valsartan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammad Azhar Hussain,
