Hi, I m 40 yr old lady married for 8.6yrs. I have undergone 2 miscarriages at 11 weeks and 6 weeks. 1 IVF done which was unsuccessful. Now lap myomectomy was done with below details. Hysteroscopy; Normal study Laparoscopy: Uterus with anterior wall fibroid. both tube and overy normal. Myomectomy and endosuturing done. Inj. zoladex 3.6 mg was taken Oviserv, Lycolife, thyronorm 62.5mg adviced Advised IVF after 3 cycles if not concieved Varicocelectomy done for husband I would like to know the chance of getting pregnancy naturally
You have already had a myomectomy, husband had a varicocele and your age is 40 years. The chances of spontaneous conception after 40 years is low. Assistance is needed in most cases as ovulation may not occur regularly and also quality of ova and sperms may not be very good.
I will not say that there are no chances of conception as spontaneous pregnancies do occur at this age but they are rare.
So you may try for a few cycles using ovulation tracking and if there is no result then take help of assisted reproduction.
