What Are The Chances Of Getting Pregnant With Ikaclomin?

Hi. I have pcocs and am overweight.. In process of losing weight.. I m trying to conceive. Just received ikaclomin from my doctor who said I should take it after a few days of getting period (which I m gonna get in a few days after taking primolut). What s the percentage of the ikaclomin working for me? Please let me know ASAP. Thanks

Hi,

Ikaclomin helps in egg formation and has to be taken for 5 days from the second day of your period. In women with PCOS the main concern is eggs not being formed, the ikaclomin corrects that.
There is a 10-20% chance of pregnancy with each cycle when on ikaclomin.
But you should also keep in mind that follicular monitoring from approximately 9th day of the cycle will help time the fertilization. Also there is a slightly more chance of miscarriage and also twin pregnancies with Ikaclomin.
