OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Amniotic band if not near the fetus usually do not affects the fetus.
However, sometimes the fetus gets entwined around the amniotic band leading to amputation of limbs or decreased blood supply to a particular part.
I would suggest you to consult a fetal medicine specialist and get a proper counselling with serial follow up ultrasounds to detect any abnormality at the earliest.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
