What Are The Chances Of Me Getting Pregnant With Seizures?

Hi Kindly let me know i have started taking novelon fron 3rd day of my periods (2nd cycle of taking novelon). When can i have unprotected sex so that i can not become preganent. What are the chaces of me getting preganent if m having sez in 4th day of my periods under above condition.

As you are using oral contraceptive pills regularly, they will provide protection throughout the month.
Means if you use the contraceptive pills as per the guidelines, you are protected throughout the month.

Seizures themselves may not affect the efficacy of the pills.
But antiepileptic drugs can affect.
Antiepileptic drugs can lead to hormonal fluctuations and contraceptive failure.
So, you should choose a contraceptive pill which contains atleast 50 micrograms of estrogen.
As novelon contains 150 micrograms of estrogen, possibly it will give good protection.
