What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy After Having Plan B?

Hi, I am 49 yrs old, had unprotected sex last night and bought Plan B and took it 17 hours after intercourse. I know being older reduces my chances of pregnancy but I just wondered if the Plan B works, and should I worry about this. I don t want any more children! Should I buy another Plan B and take it tomorrow to make sure? Please, I am very worried! Thank you!

These emergency contraceptive Pills are used as plan B because they can prevent pregnancy up to 90 to 94 % if taken in 24 hrs of unprotected sex. u have taken it before 24 hrs so chances of getting Pregnant is also very less. I will suggest u not to take second dose of Plan B tab. U just wait and watch for the periods to come .
