i am 24 yrs old female.height is 5'5". weight 54 kgs. suffering from PCOD. have started taking Ginette 35 under my doctor's prescription. this is my first month for ginette 35. i take it everyday but not on a fixed time. time varies everyday but i take it for sure. somehow missed it one day and took 2 the following day. i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on the day next to the day i missed my medicine. this was my first time for unprotected sex. always used protection before this. what are my chances of getting pregnant? reply back asap...thanks

Hello,
Your chances of getting pregnant are very minimal since you are amply protected. As you have made up for the missed pill, hormone balance will be maintained so as to prevent ovulation. Additional protection is always advised during the first couple of cycles of hormone contraception to prevent failures. You may not have ovulated at all even without the pill, since this is rare in PCOD and this factor is an additional advantage for you. Please use protection regularly to avoid such undue worry.
