What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy Post Unprotected Sex?
My boyfriend & I had sex two weeks ago without contraceptives. After he came on my clitoris, he began rubbing all over my vagina. He fingered me with his longest finger all the way deep inside with the semen still on his hands. I should be due for my period within 2 days. Could I be pregnant? What are the chances of getting pregnant this way? How long can sperm live outside of the body, say on the clitoris area? How far in the vagina does sperm have to be in order to get pregnant? Will it just find its way or does it have to be ejaculated deep inside? I m really worried I might be pregnant or that he might be trying to get me pregnant, so oral contraceptives may need to be considered if there s a great risk of getting pregnant that way. Thank you! If he has fingered you with semen on his hand then there is possibility of pregnancy. The sperms can find their way to eggs. There is no prerequisite that semen has to be deposited deep inside. Sperms live in female body for up to six days.
If you don't get your period as per schedule, do the pregnancy test. Oral contraceptives will not help at this stage.
To avoid such unnecessary stress I advise you to consult your doctor and start regular contraception like hormonal contraception or have an intrauterine devise fitted as they are very effective in preventing pregnancy.
It is wise to use in addition, barrier methods of contraception like condom to protect yourself from sexually transmitted diseases.
