What Are The Consequences Of Using Expired KY Jelly Tube?
Please tell me if there are any negative consequences if I were to use a KY Jelly tube that expired in 2009. I m at v4karin@ WWW.WWWW.WW If you type KY Jelly on the subject line, then I ll open the email. I never open email unless I know the sender. Thank-you for your kind consideration. Karin
It is generally harmless unless the KY is dried up. When used even after its expiry KY jelly usually does not cause any side effect but local side effects like pain, rash or irritation leading to inflammatory response in individuals who are allergic may occur. Unless you experience burning or itching with it, it is likely to be just fine. If it bothers you or your partner, discontinue it.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
