What Are The Early Signs And Symptoms Of Heart Attack?
My mother had a heart attack in 2011 and stopped smoking during the time of her recovery for about 2yrs. She started smoking again this year and said she hasn t been feeling well for the past two days. She has nausea and dizziness. Could she be having symptoms of another heart attack?
Hello welcome to HCM. I have read your question and understand your concerns.
Smoking has really deleterious effects on heart and after an attack of heart attack it's really hazardous to start smoking again.
Usually main classical symptoms of heart attack are -
Uneasiness on chest Heaviness in chest and not shooting pain, Excessive perspiration Symptoms last for about 20-30 minutes not responding to medicines or sorbitrate.
At present the symptoms she has been described are not look like heart attack, but for safety purpose better to consult your treating doctor and ask for ecg. Thank you. Have a nice day.
