What Are The Early Signs And Symptoms Of Pregnancy?

Hi Dr. Rynne, About two weeks ago I had unprotected sex with my partner while on birth control. Starting last week, I began to have cramps, headaches, bloating, and nausea but my period isn t suppose to come until this week and I have never experienced those types of symptoms before. Could I possibly be pregnant?

hi,in all likelihood you are not pregnant.the symptoms which you are experiencing are not necesarily because of pregnancy,they are often caused due to the estrogen and the progestrone content of the ocps and many patients experience the same so it is nothing to worry till the symptoms are so severe that they become unbearable and are unable to continue the drug.all the best take care.
