What Are The Early Signs Of Pregnancy?

hi, me and my girlfriend had protected sex for almost 4-5times n single nite (feb23), this s almost 2months back. But the following month and till now she has not yet got her period, her date s b/w 10th to 15th... we had a doubt whether she s pregnent or what so got checked by getting checking kit also, but the result found is NEGATIVE. she is really worried for not getting her periods, can i get an answer pls.......

My dear friend,

If she has missed her period for about 6 weeks to 2 months, , the urine pregnancy test should give reliable results by then. If urine pregnancy test is negative even at this stage, it is less likely that she is pregnant. You may get ultrasonography done to confirm the diagnosis.

Too much of a stress of possibility of unwanted pregnancy also may delay the menses. If ultrasonography reveals that she is not pregnant, you may give her progesterone or oestrogen+progesterone tablets for few days with the advice of a Gynaecologist. After discontinuation of the tablets, she should get withdrawal bleeding within 4-7 days.
