What Are The Effects Of Huco 5000 Injection During Pregnancy?

hi doctor, my wife is 5 week pregnant & she has been advised to take complete bed rest , today she has seen some blood discharge , & our family Dr. has suggested us to take Hucog 5000 injection IU. what are the effetcts ofthis injection ? & my babay is safe OR Not ?? can we continue this pregnancy as my wife has histor of mis oberation 3 times. please help

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion your wife has recurrent miscarriages.So the cause of recurrent miscarriage like thyroid abnormalities,progesterone insufficiency,any infections etc.So they need to evaluated.Dont worry HCG injection is safe and it is very essential in maintainence of pregnancy.Sometimes its insufficiency might cause miscarriage so it is supplemented.So relax.Bed rest is advied and avoid sexual intercoure and physical strain.
