What Are The Effects Of Pain Killers And Contraceptive Pills On The Pregnant Woman?

My wife was pregnant on 2 feb. We did not know that . We had relation on 28 feb. She took unwanted 72 to avoid pregnancy, but actually she was pregnant that we do not know. We came to know about her pregnancy after 2 march after having preganews test. She has also taken 10 tablets of ametone and other painkillers around 15feb. What side effects may be there?

Hello sir and welcome.

All the medications your wife has taken are usually contraindicated during pregnancy and so I would want to check all parameters, ultrasound investigations, quad marker test, and so on until the 20th week of gestation to make sure her fetus is developing and growing well without any abnormalities. If at all any abnormalities are noted, you can make the decision the 20th week of pregnancy (until which an abortion is allowed).

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
