What Are The Foods That Cause An Increase In The Blood Pressure And Cholesterol Levels?

I’m concerned about my husband. He had his annual physical today with blood work and he now had high blood pressure and even higher elevated cholesterol. What food or drinks would cause this to happen?the doctor upped his cholesterol pill to 80 mg. he was taking 40 mg for years!!

Hello,

Generally, the salt with the diet may affect the blood pressure and fatty and sweet foods may affect the lipid levels. As a rule, gaining weight may cause high levels of blood pressure as well as lipids. So every food that may cause you to gain weight should be considered related to both these abnormalities.
