Dulaxis a purgative with common side effects like- Abdominal discomfort, cramps,
nausea, loose motions, fluid/electrolyte depletion. leading to dizziness/

IN your case the drug is not effective- so no question of side effects.
You seem to have
chronic constipation. To control it you need to change your life style apart from medicines.

- Take balanced diet with lot of salads, vegetables, fruits with Eat food in it's natural form.Avoid processed/refined food.
- Drink 10-12 glasses of water in a day.
- daily exercise with walking( 45 minutes),
Yoga exercises -specially those for abdominal muscles.
- To start with take mild purgatives like liquid paraffin2-4 spoons twice after food. Use of glycerine suppository every morning avoids hard motion.
- Adapt(Try to form a habit) a regular toilet habit at a fixed time daily.
- Use
Digestive enzyme tonics after food.
