What Are The Long Term Effects Of Klonopin And Paxil?

I have been taking Paxil for years. I have tried several other antidepressants, but it is the one that works best for me. I am also taking Klonipin. I am very anxious and have always been. Without these meds, I have severe panic attacks. What is your opinion about the long term use of these 2 drugs. I am 63.

Paxil is generally safe even for long term use although there are long term use side effects like sexual dysfunction, weight gain and anorgasmia.
Same thing is applicable for Klonopin but it is not a good option in individuals who have high addiction potential. If used for long time it ay cause addiction and it becomes difficult to discontinue Klonopin. In controlled way both medications are generally safe and effective.
