What Are The Long-term Effects Of Prazole?
h! i d like to ask if it s ok for my brother to take prazole plus for more than a month. his doctor did not indicate how long he should take it. im worried about the long term effects such as infection,renal and hepatic problem and gynecomastia.please help.thanks.

hello user , prazole plus is a combination of pantoprazole(proton pump inhibitor) and domperidone (antiemetic and prokinetic) . These drugs generally have a very good safety profile and commonly uses by physicians even for many months and more as per the case - the side effects which you are concerned about are extremely rare with use of such drugs . so overall there is nothing much to worry until you pay next visit to your physician . take care

Hi!! You should not worry to much as this medicine can be safely taken even upto 6 months . There is a very rare incidence of gynaecomastia with this drug and renal and hepatic problems doesnot occur in normal persons. Caution is to be taken while giving this medicine to someone with abnormal liver and kidney functions.
