What Are The Long Term Side Effects Of Mucinex-d And Vicks Inhaler?

i quit smoking cold turkey june 26th ...i ve had head congestion ever since, been using mucinex-d at night only 1- 12hr tab a day, and an inhaler to open nose at night so i can at least get afew hours of sleep will i have a problem with mucinex-d or vicks inhaler, they both say not to use for very long. tks, Mark

Both these medications can with time become ineffective and are also in the long-term considered to be habit forming, so please do avoid using these medications for a long time. Instead, find the cause for your symptoms and seek medical attention. A more likely diagnosis would be a sinus problem or just psychological withdrawal symptoms.
