Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I m taking 60 mg of vyvanse for the past month for narcolepsy. It s a mild case no cataplexy or anything like that. I ve been having blurred vision so I saw an optometrist. She said I had an underlining vision problem and the vyvanse relaxes the eyes so it itensifies the effect. I have an Rx for glasses now. I m also starting to have excessive yawning and deep breathing. The yawn is not a complete yawn. What should I do? The meds have helped me so much, but scared I m harming my body.
The excessive yawning is due to sleep disturbances the alteration of normal sleep rhythm. Visit your treating doctor for followup may be you need some sort of dosage reduction or gradual withdrawal of Vyvnase and substituting another drug with less harmful side effects.
I hope your doubts are calrified. If you are convinced kindly give the rating for this answer., Take care of your health.
