What Are The Long Term Side Effects Of Taking Caltrate,Collagen And Osteo Bi Flex?

The following supplements have been taken for more than four years, caltrate 600 plus d, collagen, osteo bi flex, and omega 3. My sister is complaining of fatigue, stomach upset, nausea and painful urination. A colonoscopy and and upper GI were normal and no UTI. Could these supplements taken long term be the problem?

Hello,

Side effects of Caltrate, Collagen and Osteo Bi-Flex are not so serious so these medicines can be taken for a longer period of time.

But for your information the side effects are as follows:
Caltrate - Constipation or stomach upset
Collagen - No significant side effects
Osteo Bi-Flex - Nausea,stomach pain,constipation,puffy eyelids.

These side effects are manageable.
