Hi, I m 47 and this is the first time I missed my period other than my two children. I have been having the so called hot flashes at night primarily for about 4 months but not too severe. My thyroid is deceased as they say (liquid radiation) about 12 years ago. No real issues with that but recently was told they need to decrease the meds from 125 to 115mcg (levrothyroxin). I recently lost 37 pounds in 4 months but have been taking Phentermine for the past 3 months. I am tired and just started cramping a bit but nothing comes. I was sexually active approximately 6 weeks ago. What are the odds of pregnacy over perimenopause or menopause? Oh and I have been working out really heavy and don t know if this is the cause of the cramps.
Hi, Welcome to HCM. Chance of pregnancy from the description you gave are less than 0.001%. You may be going through perimenopausal transition (nearing menopause) and require treatment for (hot flashes & other symptoms) same.
