I just had a colonoscopy and a non cancerous polyp was removed. Thr type of polyp is called adenomatous. Instead od a colonoscopy in Ten years , I now have to return in five years. Is there a high chance that I could develop cancer? I am a 74 y/o female. I had breast cancer (mastectomy) 30 yrs ago. I have had routine colonoscopies and this is the first polyp found
