What Are The Possible Consequences Of Taking Lexotan In Pregnancy?

Hello. I am 40 years old, 1.65 - hight, 58 - weight. and pregnant in the 9 th month. During the first trismester i have been taking the sedative Lexotan almost every day /one pill a day/. After that -now and then- i've been taking it also. Now i read that it is not recommended and even dangerous. My question is - what are the possible consequences and what are the risks for the baby? Are there any researches made, i read something about hypotomia, breathing problems - are they Sure to happen or May be? And if it is not sure - what is the chances that they happen?? Really , i am very disturbed and scared.

dear patient , lexotan is a brand name for bromazepam which is an anti anxiety drug. its use has to avoided in early pregnancy. yes of course its harmful for fetus especially if taken in early pregnancy whish is your case.side effects are many though they dont occur in everyone..so for now lets keep our finger crossed and if everything comes out to be normal, avoid the drug during breastfeeding.
