I m undergoing follicular monitoring and today is my 13th day...yesterday i was injected hucog 10000 injection but egg did not rapture in today s monitoring...plz suggest what are d possible reasons why egg is nt rupturing....and when probably it will rapture...

What was the follicle size prior to inj HCg. It should be around 20x20mm. After taking inj HCG, eggs are likely to rupture in 36 hrs. So on the 3rd day of hcg scan should be done.. The follicle size decreases and presence of free fluid in the pouch of douglas indicates ovulation has occured and ideal time for IUI. So scan has to repeated tomorrow.
